White-collar job openings hit a new high in March quarter
The closing quarter of FY22 recorded the highest number of open white-collar job positions in the past two years and it even exceeded the pre-pandemic monthly jobs numbers, according to data from LinkedIn and top company job boards.
Urban unemployment rate fell to 9.8% in July-Sept’21: Government
Labour force participation rate in CWS (current weekly status) in urban areas for persons of 15 years of age and above was 46.9% in July-September 2021, similar to 46.8% in the trailing quarter. However, it fell to 19.9% in females from 20.1% in April-June but rose in males to 73.5% in July-September from 73.1% in the previous quarter.
